The frame and sideplate of this spinning reel is built on solid, one piece aluminum which means this reel has incredible strength and power, and is truly a great support system for this entire reel. The super light and durable perforated aluminum spool which in turn as extremely quick start up and retrieve. The infinite Anti-Reverse on this Baitcasting reel will prevent your spool and handle from turning backwards while you cast your line, which will practically eliminate the possibility of tangles.

The insides of this reel are just as strong and well built as the outside. The drag has seven-disc system that contains Daiwa’s Fiber Composite washers that allow you to tighten and loosen the drag as needed with no hesitation. The pinion gear is made of a super strong alloy, and the drive gear is machined out of ultra strong bronze.

Warranty Information:
Daiwa will repair or replace any Daiwa rod or reel which proves defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase.  Retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary.  This warranty does not cover lost parts, malfunctions due to abuse, accident or normal wear, or, cleaning or relubrication required due to owner's failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.  Repairs to your Daiwa reel due to abnormal use, modification or beyond the warranty period are available for a reasonable charge, from Daiwa's Factory Service Department.
