Owner Dancing Stingers are designed to be attached to the eye of speed jigs, a saltwater jigging technique using heavy, flat sided jigs like the Daiwa Sacrifice Jigs. Attaching stinger hooks to the eye of the jig aids in keeping fish from throwing the hook during the battle. With the hook attached to the pull point of the lure, the fish has no added leverage to help it throw the hook. There are obviously many other uses for these stinger hooks such as adding to an existing live bait rig to add a tail hook. The 5284W-157 model uses a 2-1/2" trace of 200 lb. test wire attached to a 5/0 hook. 2 Per Package.
